Concern

I've been talking to someone for like the longest time now. We've had fun conversations and awkward silences. It just worries me that now, you've been so quiet and distant.

We always end up arguing or not talking until one of us (mostly you) signs out or says goodbye. I just don't know what's wrong or what worries you because you don't try to open up to me. Sometimes I think you're holding back when I ask you things and you say you forgot about that or you just don't answer.

Please give me a chance to know what's bothering you. I am here to help. I am extremely worried.

Flying Wish Paper

I like how I see random things on the internet. I came across this item while I was reading someone's blog. 

FLYING WISH PAPER

What you do with it is first, you have to write your wish on the wish paper and make it into a cylinder. You let it stand on the wish platform and light it on fire. As the fire burns the bottom part of your wish, it will start to levitate, or "fly", and with it goes your wish. 

It's kind of wonderful that these things are available to not only give us hope but to also help us keep in touch with our "little kid side". I remember kids would write their wish on a piece of paper and tie it to a balloon and let it go. I guess this is more on the magic and mature side of it. 

I don't know if it works or if it's true, but I give it credit for the whimsical and creative thought they put into making this product.

An Open Letter to the Person Who I Will Love For The Rest Of My Life

To the person who I will love for the rest of my life,

I am writing this in the middle of the night, listening to the songs I want to listen to when I'm with you. I can't wait to meet you, or know more about you. There are times when I wonder if you really are there and if that time will come for the two of us to meet. I'm wondering if I've met you already or if I haven't yet. I hope you find your way to me so we could make our own story.

I have always imagined you and I sitting on a couch cuddled in each other's arms while watching our favorite movie. I would always be there for you when you have troubles with work or school, leave little notes on your things that say how awesome or lovely you are. I want to be the one to put sugar in your coffee every morning, hug you before we go to sleep at night, and laugh like a silly kid when you make jokes. I will be your best friend, your brother and your lover-forever.

I want to hold your hand while we walk across town or while we chill around the shop in the corner of this and that. I want to sit in silence while listening to your breathing. I want to open my eyes and smell your scent on my bed. I want to eat my meals with you across the table. I want to be your pillar, your inspiration. I want to be there when you want to collapse and cry. I want to be next to you when you cheer and laugh. I want to be there to wrap my arms around you when you are hurt or scared.

After a significant amount of years, I want to get married to you in a backyard big enough to share with family and friends, lit with candles and the smell of lavender in the air, to promise all my love and life to you in front of everyone we love. I imagine our honeymoon in a Disney Resort. We would be running around the theme park like little kids, giggling and screaming with excitement.

We would travel the world together and take photos beside famous landmarks. We would go to Europe and intoxicate ourselves with the immense culture they have, go around Asia and experience exoticism at its best. We will discover the world in our own way. I want us to compile all of these memories in a book, complete with notes and photos. It will be the proof of our interpretation of the world.

We would spend holidays together; Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's, Valentines Day, each other's birthday and our anniversary. I wish our families would be okay with the both of us so we could spend these times with them too because family means so much to me.

I want us to adopt two little kids, a son and a daughter. I want us to be there when they grow up and them be proud to have the two of us as parents. I have been dreaming my entire life to be called "Daddy". We would love them so much like our own and promise never to lay a hand on them. We would help them reach their dreams and achieve their goals. We would go on vacations every summer as a family, enjoy the sun and the earth.

I want to grow old with you, love you for the wrinkles that would mark your face and for all your imperfections. I will love you like how I loved you on the day we got married. I will continue to fulfill my promise of love and life to you.

Of course life can never be perfect. We would have our awesome times, and also the worst. I hope you can forgive me if I say things that may hurt you so much. I hope that you learn to accept me for my mistakes. I promise to love you and never to look for anything else. I will love you like how a plant needs water, like how I need you.

I want to spend the last moments of my life with you. I want to hold your hand and feel you are there. I want to hear your voice and put me to sleep. I want to feel you sleep next to me at night.

But for now, all I can do is to pray and hope that you find your way to me, dream that I could finally do this with someone. I will wait for you, no matter how long... but please, don't keep me waiting too long :)

Kermit Tesoro's Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010 Look

I am super obsessed with these shoes! They are super awesome to look at and I think they are stellar to walk in. Imagine mastering the skill of walking in these pair and working it around the city. 

These are shoes from an awesome Filipino Designer, Kermit Tesoro. I applaud him for his bravery and skill in being able to incorporate such pieces and make a fabulous collection. The colors are really nude which take away the possibility of being tacky, and the use of materials are genius! Milled foam, rubber tubings, thin metal coronas.

If I had the chance, I would definitely buy myself one of these, if he has my size. You're asking me where I would walk in these shoes? I would wear it for a concert (Lady Gaga again?), to the mall, downtown, photoshoots, parties... everywhere.

After months of excitement and anticipation, the Monster Ball Tour 2010 is now a part of my fondest memories. We have been planning everything from the hair to the clothes and the stuff we're gonna bring to the concert. I have spent hours putting studs on a leather glove and on a pair of epaulettes. I was in my creative peak when I'm making stuff for the concert. We even stopped listening to her songs just to preserve the excitement and build up the thrill of hearing her once again.

The concert was a mixture of music, drama, liberation, love, dance and a connection of souls. The venue was filled with love and happiness. Her "little monsters" were there to extend their love and appreciation for all the passion and commitment she puts into her craft. She is not just a singer/songwriter. Lady Gaga is a creative visionary, a soul that is able to establish connections between strangers and put them in a trance of music, love and freedom. She is a liberator, a performer, an artist, and a showwoman. She knows when to let her "little monsters" have it. She is a fierce character. She is the true manifesto of pop culture.

We were dropped off near the Staples Center at 3:00 in the afternoon. We walked around and saw a lot of little monsters walking around and falling in line, waiting to witness Lady Gaga's magic. People are taking pictures with random people because of what they wear and you can feel the intense joy of being there. When we got in, the venue seemed to be "empty" and there was this lady dancing around the stage to this music that we've never heard of. She's been there for 40 minutes, jumping around, doing splits and rocking her body. After her performance, she was introduced as Lady Starlight. I wish they introduced her properly in the beginning because people were clueless about who she is or what she was doing. She is a friend of Lady Gaga, and a co-performer. After her came the Semi Precious Weapons.  They were all about "the real rock and roll". The music was interesting. They performed with Gaga since 2006 when nobody knew who she was. They said that their first gig together was in a bar with 12 people in the audience and "they felt like fucking superstars" They were there to get us "wet and excited" for Gaga.

After a 15 minute set change, the lights turned off and a grid was projected on a white screen fabric. Neon lights followed and a silhouette of Gaga in an exuberant costume. She was performing "Dance in the Dark." Throughout her concert, she thanked every one of her little monsters for the love and support. She said she was just a strange girl from a not so strange town and that if she was not there performing for her little monsters, she would be in New York performing in a small bar. Her outfits were the best, and some were very memorable. The living dress, the square hair dress, the red leather cloak, the crystal dress, the studded lingerie and her combustible bra. It was all in one event. She said things about liberation, her opinions in gay marriage and love and she sang "Boys, Boys, Boys". She sang this for her "little gay kids" In the middle of the set, she went to the front stage, dressed in a black leather cloak, she called a random cellphone number that she got from a raffle. She was calling a fan from the audience from a cellphone to ask them to bring his friend and go watch the rest of the show front-row and "get a kiss after the show". She sang "Telephone" and all her other hits. She thanked everybody again for buying tickets.

The concert was a blast. It was touching and rejuvenating. If you ever get the chance to see her perform, do so.

Today, the federal judge strikes down California's same-sex marriage ban.

It means people from the LGBT community can get married in California and live the life they've always dreamed of.

This is a happy day and we shall celebrate. <3

Me Is Job Hunting

Ok, some of you know that I've been looking for a job since April. I haven't been very successful. I've applied almost everywhere but still, I'm unemployed. I've submitted new applications to all these places and I really hop I get hired soon. My first bet?

My iPod Is Being A DIVA

My iPod has been having troubles these past few weeks. I've restored it twice because it loses all its contents randomly. My sync cord is acting crappy too. I might need to buy a new wire, or a new iPod soon.
